The Mock Interview Programme is all about you.  To get the most out of this programme it’s important that you ask yourself the following questions
  • What am I good at?
  • What do I enjoy doing?
  • What skills do I have?
  • Where do I want to be in the future?

Below are a set of job descriptions for you to take a look at. To participate in this programme you will need to print off your chosen position, write a cover letter correctly addressed to the contact person, create a resume that reflects the skills required and respond to the selection criteria listed. Once you have completed these three separate requirements you need to submit your application to your Career Adviser. Remember, if you don’t get your application in by the due date - you won't get an interview!

  • Administrative Assistant
  • Apprentice Carpenter
  • Apprentice Chef
  • Apprentice Hairdresser
  • Apprentice Mechanic
  • Apprentice Signwriter
  • Childcare Trainee
  • Communications Assistant
  • Drafting Apprenticeship
  • Veterinary Assistant

There are a myriad of resources available to help you compile your application. You can use the internet by visiting sites such as myfuture.edu.au or download these worksheets on how to prepare a cover letter and resume. We’ve even got one on interview skills so you know what to expect. And don’t forget, your Career Adviser has a wealth of information ready for you to access!
