How does my child become involved in CWYTS projects?
All CWYTS activities are promoted through school Career Advisers and relevant community agencies and interagencies within the Central Tablelands, Bathurst/Orange and Lachlan regions. Events and activities held outside of the school environment are advertised in relevant local media.
What about safety?
All CWYTS staff have undergone Federal Police checks and working with children checks. The CWYTS staff are trained to perform the activities that they undertake and complete risk assessments on events and activities.
Students completing mandatory work placement are covered by their schools insurance policy once the work placement paper work is signed by the school, employer and parents. | |
