There are many ways in which your business can become involved in shaping the workforce of tomorrow!
Your contribution to developing a young person’s skill might involve -
-
Hosting a work placement student (1 week). This is a Year 11 or 12 HSC student who is specifically studying a subject directly or very closely related to your industry;
-
Participating in Mock Interviews;
-
Presenting an industry display at the Central West Jobs Expo – the Jobs Expo will be held in Orange on 31 July 2008, please contact John Chivers (02) 6330 1410 for more information;
-
Hosting a school or community industry tour.
Any support you are able to give to assist CWYTS in preparing young people to enter the workforce is most appreciated.
Should you wish to become involved in hosting work placement students please click on the ‘contact us’ page and call or email the Structured Workplace Learning Coordinator closest to you. For involvement in all other projects or general enquiries, please contact either of the Career and Transition Service Coordinators listed on the contacts page. | |
