17/08/2007 - Coffee Making & Food Presentation Workshop - Orange Christian School

Orange Christian School partnered with local businesses to teach Year 10 students coffee making skills, presentation skills and communication skills.

With the help of Gareth Haynes from 'Lolli Redini Restaurant', and Helen White of 'Pies on Sale' the Year 10 students from Orange Christian School learned some valuable and practical skills in coffee making, food presentation and effective communication skills with customers.

The students travelled by bus to 'Pies on Sale' where they were briefed on proper hygiene practices and presentation of food.  Gareth Haynes visited the school to teach barista skills and the students practiced all their new found knowledge by serving the schools staff in a mock coffee shop.
